Attention: In partnership with the Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS), Friends of Recovery (FOR-NY ) is awarding scholarships for training to become a Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA) and for CRPA Renewal training! These awards will go to individuals who take their training with a Best Practice Trainer. IHNO is approved "BEST PRACTICE TRAINER" What you can expect if you qualify: ▪46 hours of CRPA training (RCA 30 + 16 Hours of Peer Ethics authorized training) ▪3 hrs. Medication Assisted Treatment (MATS/ MARS on- line training available) ▪1 hour minimum monthly - learning collaborative for a minimum of 6 months. CCAR Recovery Coach Academy© is an Intensive Peer Recovery Coach training providing individuals with the knowledge and skills to expand their ability to guide, mentor and support anyone who would like to start or sustain long-term recovery from an addiction to alcohol or other drugs. This training has been adopted for NYS Certification.
